Miss Happypaw logged onto Animal Jam. She had nothing better to do, so she wandered around Jamaa and stared at her solid pink coat. Then, Miss Happypaw spotted a Jammer running frantically around Coral Canyons and screaming, "IT'S COMING! FIERCE SCARYCLOUD HAS RETURNED FOR ITS REIN OVER JAMAA!"

The wolf looked genuinely frightened as he cried out and dashed hurriedly this way and that. An arrogant-looking coyote just scoffed at him. "There's no such thing as Fierce Scarycloud. It was just a made-up tale to keep children from boasting about their items."

Miss Happypaw was intrigued. "Hmm, it IS getting pretty close to Halloween," she thought. "Maybe I could do a Halloween party at my den! It could be Fierce Scarycloud themed!"

She decided to go to her den and decorate a small house.

Walls and floors were the first step. Climbing her trusty ladder, she worked hard for a couple hours putting bat wallpaper on the walls. Miss Happypaw laid down spiderweb floors and began to bake some spooky snacks.

While she waited for them to finish cooking, she set up tables and Halloween plates. She climbed her ladder again to place fake cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling.

The oven began to beep furiously and she raced to the kitchen to pull out the treats. When she was finished decorating them, Miss Happypaw placed them on the plates.

Miss Happypaw decided that the final decoration would be a ring of lit tiki torches around a black fox plushie, so she got to work setting them up in the middle of the room.

When she was done making the circle, she took a lighter and lit each torch. Miss Happypaw placed a Spooky Fence at each doorway, knowing that the Jammers who came to her party would be able to easily hop over or even phase through them. She put a small speaker set in the corner that played some classic Halloween hits.

Smiling to herself, Miss Happypaw tasted a treat off each plate and her eyes widened at the yummy flavor. 'Gotta love my baking skills!' she thought to herself.

Suddenly, the sky outside the den became dark. The speakers started playing a distorted, husky voice.

"It's CoMiNg"

Puzzled, Miss Happypaw started trying to fiddle with the radio, but as she bent down next to a speaker to adjust the antenna, it blasted a loud, static-filled scream.

"It's CoMiNg!"

Startled, she snapped up and accidentally banged her head on the underside of a table that held some strawberry candies. Rubbing the back of her head, she started to pick them up when she realized that the spilled candies spelled out "It's Coming."

Miss Happypaw was starting to get really freaked out. She tried to exit her den, but all of the buttons were grayed out. Whenever she tried to click a grayed out button, she got a notification.

"It's CoMiNg. ThErE'S nO eScApE fRoM fIeRcE sCaRyClOuD."

"Well, maybe if the buttons are grayed out, I can walk to Jamaa Township from the trail?" Miss Happypaw murmured to herself.

She tried to walk out of her den, but the fences were impassible. She tried to hop over them, but it was like trying to hop over the wall part of the building.

She heard a static-filled voice pierce the room.

"I'm HeRe."

Whipping around, she saw an unnatural black wolf with purple square-swirls in the center of the room.

"Why? Why are you here?!" cried Miss Happypaw frantically.

"YoU sAcRiFiCeD tO mE," it responded, pausing for a few seconds. The silence was almost deafening.

"What did I-" Miss Happypaw tried to say, but a chill rushing through the room and a faint scream cut her off. The tiki torches blew out and toppled over, revealing that the fox plushie was mangled up and leaking actual blood. An expression of pure horror and pain that certainly hadn't been there before was plastered on its face.

"SeE?" said Fierce Scarycloud.

"I- I didn't mean to- What did I-" Miss Happypaw stammered.

"HoWeVeR mUcH i EnJoY aNy SaCrIfIcE, i PrEfEr LiViNg ThInGs," stated the creepy wolf. It took a few minutes to register in Miss Happypaw's shocked mind. But when it did, she went from terrifed to full-on panic frenzy.

Screaming and running around the den, she banged her paws on the walls and tried opening her inventory to remove the fences. Nothing worked.

She turned around to see Fierce Scarycloud munching on a candy corn brownie and sharpening the end of a tiki torch. On the ground it carved a circle with an F and an S intertwining inside of it.

Miss Happypaw's panic rose even higher and she felt hot tears prick the corners of her eyes. "I-I just w-wanted to have a Halloween party!" she sobbed.

Fierce Scarycloud leaped forwards and pinned her on her back in the middle of the symbol he carved. She felt the tip pierce her stomach. Out of the corner of her hazing vision she saw her blood run into the symbol and fill the grooves.

The screen went black and blood splattered against it and dripped down. A pop-up showed on the screen.

Three months later, Miss Happypaw tried to log back onto Animal Jam to warn other players after overcoming her traumatic experience, but she was invisible.

Nobody saw her.

Nobody heard her.

AJHQ was contacted, but they couldn't fix it.

And Fierce Scarycloud continued its rein of terror.
